SCOUG Help Desk Is Online
"My network is now working both ways. I can't tell you how
much I appreciate, not only your help, but the availability of this venue to
get it straightened out."
Welcome to the new home of the SCOUG Help Desk. If you are not
familiar, the Help Desk is the forum SCOUG has used to help its OS/2
users get OS/2 up and running. Typically, members and guests would
bring their computers in to a meeting.
However, there were many limitations to that format - and now on the
Internet we provide the same service more effectively. No longer do you
have to wait for the one night a month when the Help Desk is available.
We're available here, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. No longer do you
have to lug your computer to who knows where, only to have to drag it
across a parking lot. Get help from home. And no longer is the
attention and time of a small number of helpers stretched to help many
people at once. We have many SCOUG members willing to help out
