Subject: SCOUG-General: EPM Macros for an IDE

Content Type: text/

Has anyone ever re-compiled the macros for the EPM editor in Warp 4?
I'm trying to figure out the actual options for the default EPM setup
and how they differ from the options specified in the sample MY*.E files
included in the default distribution of the EPM macros.

I'm asking because Hobbes has an EPM macro collection that turns the
enhanced editor into an IDE for Java, C, REXX, and NetREXX. The snag,
though, is that you have to compile the extension macros along with the
default EPM macros. When I try this with the sample MY*.E files included
with the basic EPM macro package, I seem to loose some EPM features.
One time, I even managed to completely blow away the Options Menu and
the spell checker.
