Subject: SCOUG-General: Importing addresses to NS4

Content Type: text/plain

In 2.02, I used to be able to import nearly any flavor of address book.
Now I can't seem to import address book from anything nor can I import
an address book that was exported. For the lists I want to import, I've
made a file that looks EXACTLY like one of the .ldi (aka .ldif) files
which is created if you export your address book.

This is the format of one entry in the .ldi(f) file (except for the
first entry, each one is preceded by a blank line in the actual file):

dn: cn=Virginia R. Hetrick,mail=drjuice@gte.net
cn: Virginia R. Hetrick
sn: Hetrick
givenname: Virginia R.
objectclass: top
objectclass: person
mail: drjuice@gte.net
xmozillanickname: vhatgte
xmozillausehtmlmail: FALSE
xmozillauseconferenceserver: 0

Does anybody have any ideas about how to do this in 4?

Thanks.
