Subject: SCOUG-General: Chats, Monday and Wednesday

The Internet SIG returns to IRC Chat on Wednesday at 7PM, Hollywood time. Hope
you can join us. We'll look at the law on the web, with the recent captures of
suspects for the Melissa virus and a Securities and Exchange Commission gripe
against a PairGain employee. The ability to track bad people on the net is as
important to it's future as hangin' rustlers was in the old west. We'll lose a
few innocents, and we'll end up with more supervision than we probably need, but
prosperity should improve, and most things will appear cleaner and prettier.
Let's talk about the good and the bad. Maybe we can figure out if the 'net
caused the high school shooters in Colorado to flip, as many newsies and
politicos seem to believe.

We'll also look at some utilities for your web browser.

Come and join us. Go to the web site for details,
