Subject:	SCOUG-General: Lexmark 5700 vs. DOS apps

Will someone who is using a Lexmark 5700 please tell me if it will print
from old DOS apps like WordPerfect 6.0b and Quattro Pro 5.0?

If it will print from them, how does it work? Does the 5700 emulate old
dot matrix printers like the Epson LQ2500 and the Panasonic KX-P1124 or a
Laser Jet (HPII)? I assume no company would write drivers for such old
apps.

Thanks in advance for the info. I e-mailed the same quesions to Lexmark
tech support a week or so ago but haven't received an answer.
