Subject: SCOUG-General: Lexmark 5700 vs. DOS apps

Actually, Jack, look to see whether the 5700 does HP emulation (I'll bet it probably
does). If so, you should be able to use earlier HP drivers. For example, I always have an
HP PCL-3 driver in any OS/2 system I set up because I've found that will work with with
any system that can use PCL 3, 4, or 5 (so far) including IBM 4019-xx and 4029-xx.

Point in fact, I asked around last night and (while not verified) it was reported that
it does indeed work with older HP drivers. So, this should be the solution in question!

Why is it called "rush hour" if it's so damn slow?
