Subject: SCOUG-General: Y2k holes

Well NT fixpac 4 is supposed to be the Y2k upgrade, but a LOT of stuff
breaks on Fixpac 4. So what you need to ask is Fixpac 4 applied and does
everything still work?

Subject: SCOUG-General: Y2k holes

I need some help pointing out Y2k issues on NT systems, and comparing it
to OS/2.

As you folks know, I'm a director (elected) on the Board of a local water
and sewer agency. We provide water to residences and businesses, and when
they're done using it, we handle the "back end."

The agency recently switched over from UNIX to NT ( I think, but am not
sure, that the desktops are win95). This Thursday I'll be receiving a
staff presentation on Y2k readiness. I've already been told that they've
gone over everything, and everything's fine.

Staff generally knows that I don't think much of the operating system that
they're using, especially for mission critical stuff. I'd like to be
prepared with appropriate questions to ask, and contrasting those holes
with the same situation under OS/2.

Anyone have any suggestions, illustrations, questions I can ask, etc.?
