Is the DMX3181A on a peel-off sticker? If so, peel it back and see what
the chip really is. :)
You could try the various Symbios Logic drivers; if it's indeed a
Symbios chip, one of them should work.
I'm impressed by the Tekram SCSI cards - inexpensive, mostly Symbios
(thus OS/2 drivers), a number of different models. I just put their
DC-310 into one of the towers here with no problems, and their DC-390
series (especially the DC-390U2W) is top-of-the-line. For pricing, try:
http://www.pricescan.com
http://www.pricewatch.com
and the Tekram website also lists some resellers (though PriceScan gave
me much better prices):
http://www.tekram.com
The attached HTML file is a table I put together a few weeks ago of some
of the Tekram cards. The table doesn't show what I paid for the
DC-310: $40, at a recent weekend computer show. In the last column,
"PrSc" means the price came from PriceScan and "PrWa" means the price
came from PriceWatch.
