Hi Gilbert,

Thanks for the suggestion! :)

Unfortunately, you're dealing with a yacky salesman here (me) who wants
to make sure everybody clicks to the web site every time another press
release comes out.

We do have the footer that you saw at the bottom:

which gives the basic stuff (date and approximate location). I've
learned from my day job at Ned's Used Car Lot that if somebody will
listen to me talk for at least 3 minutes, they're not just tire kicking
and really do want to buy a car. That's when I start planning for my
next trip to Vegas and I start opening car doors so they can climb in.

Same thinking here: If somebody bothers to get to the bottom of the
page, they'll see the "teaser" with the date and enough location info so
they know how much the bus ticket costs, but they _have_ to visit the
web site to get the final details.

Why do I want them to stop reading their mail and click to the web
site? Because that's where the registration form is. :)

Gilbert, you seem interested in how this works behind-the-scenes.
There's actually a fairly involved marketing campaign going on -- email
me privately if you want more info.

Thanks. :)
