Subject: SCOUG-General: OS/2 memory limit major increase

Content Type: text/plain

From the April 25 "OS/2 News And Rumors" by Steve Wendt:

It seems the 512MB memory limit in Warp 4 has been
increased to a maximum of 3GB. With FixPak 13 applied,
it defaults to 1GB, but can be tuned via the Config.Sys
variable "VIRTUALADDRESSLIMIT=3072" which indicates
the value in megabytes, 512-3072.

Steve Wendt's OS/2 News And Rumors is updated sporadically and is at
