A good summary article on the DOJ's breakup plan for Microsoft, written
by Graham Lea for the UK Register, is here:
http://www.theregister.co.uk/000429-000003.html
It includes a number of the details, plus an expected time line. The
time line considers the expected appeal to the Supreme Court, and
reckons the actual breakup will occur in 2003, barring political
interference. Conduct restrictions would be put in force much sooner.
