Subject: SCOUG-General: scsi cd-rom not recognized

Content Type: text/plain

Through my own stupidity I' m having to reinstall warp 4. My warp
installtion dates back to when warp 4 was first availble. I needed
more space on D:, where warp was installed, and tried to use Partition
Commander to resize an HPFS partition. Apparently, Partition Commander
can't do that, and spoiled things irreversibly. I have a tape backup
(BackAgain/2), but didn't make the crash recovery diskettes. When I
originally installed Warp I had an old Mitzumi CD ROM, but about a year
ago replaced it with a SCSI CD ROM. My only course seemed to be to
reinstall warp, install BackAgain/2, make the crash recovery diskettes,
and restore from tape. But, when I tried to reinstall warp, the SCSI CD
ROM is not recognized. This must be a situation that has been explained
many times, but as I never needed it, I don't know what to do. Any
suggestions on how to get the Warp installation to recognize my CD ROM
(Symbios SCSI adaptor) much appreciated.
