Hi, gang -

I don't know what the outcome of everything will be, but I'd strongly
suggest two things:

1. Get connected to an attorney who specializes in non-profit issues ASAP
(not a month from now).

2. Make sure that attorney is comfortable with whatever else is done,
including having the attorney make the contact with the IRS or
recommending who should make the contact with the IRS.

Dithering around on this is not a good thing and that's what I perceive is
happening. The IRS is particularly UNHAPPY about people it perceives are
ignoring its instructions.

HTH.
