According to my minutes archive, at the Dec. 2, 1999 board meeting, Terry (who was
president at the time) appointed Steve as vice president and Peter as interim librarian.
So this happened more than a year ago, but not quite 2.

Also, I think I would prefer video tapes vs. audio tapes for 2 reasons:
1) Since the meeting is basically a presentation, and most of it IS visual (therefore the
need for the video projector & a screen), people who miss the meeting and hear only
an audio tape/MP3/(whatever format) would not be able to SEE what's going on.
2) IMO, if the video camera has a fairly obvious-looking microphone, that is more likely
to pick up questions from the audience instead of a microphone hooked up between a
tape recorder & the person(s) giving the presentation.

Ergo, a belated thanks to Dave for the times he DID video-tape the meetings.
