Subject: SCOUG-General: Problem running NS 4.61

Thursday I got on the internet with NS 4.61 and had no problems.

Tonight I could get to hobbes and other sites with little information on
the home page. But each attempt to load an information laden home page
like Yahoo's or service.boulder's resulted: (1) in NS halting after
loading part of the page and (2) the display of this (and the usual
additional information which is I do not comprehend):

A program caused exception c0000005 at 1bd930a7.
Due to insufficient stack space the exception was not dispatched. The
process was terminated. PMMERGE.DLL 0004: 00930a7

Nothing about my system has changed so far as I know.

Could this problem be the result of the fact that I am running with fix 04
for Java? I know fix 07 or 08 is available. If fix 04 is my problem,
where do I find it on a site with a simple home page. I couldn't find any
of the fixes on hobbes.

TIA for the guidance.
