I have an SMC, seems to work fine. I also bought a chineese box called
Gigafast with similar configuration (4-port switch with printer server) at
Micro Center recently for $60 with $20 rebate. Worth the price just for the
print server. Regular price $69. Micro Center resells returned items with
warranty at good discounts. I saw several of the SMCs and some Linksys for
around $60. I don't mean to pitch Micro Center, just that I've found some
good deals there lately. Actually, I think I got my SMC there for about
$100 with a $50 mail in rebate.

Steve had an SMC firewall/router on Saturday (details of which he'd probably
be willing to
provide). Does anybody else have one of these puppies that cost in the
range of $89 (what
Steve's cost) and $150 that they'd be willing to recommend?
Thanks for whatever light y'all can shed.
