I expect that many of you monitor the VOICE list, and so happened to
see Esther's post regarding the purchase of Connectix by MicroSquish.
The point of this purchase seems pretty transparent to me: the
product is likely to be "retired" ; this will -- sooner or later --
take the best user option for Win-32 emulation off the table. One
might well anticipate that any further releases of Windoze will have
code "enhancements" to render VPC worthless.
I am very interested to hear what news updates Kim may have for us on
this subject. It was my impression that VPC/2 was a significant item
in Serenity's marketing plans, at least for a certain market segment.
Perhaps this development will resurrect and revitalize the ODIN
project ?
