For Immediate Release.

It Looks Like Warpstock San Francisco

With only one bidder for this year's Warpstock 2003, it seems almost
certain that OS/2 users from around the world will meet this fall in San
Francisco.

According to Mark Dodel, President of Warpstock Inc., the only bid
received this year for the annual OS/2-fest came from BayWarp, an OS/2
user group in the San Francisco Bay area. "I'd like to thank the
BayWarp group and the event team for putting together this bid," wrote
Dodel.

BayWarp has chosen the weekend of October 18-19 for Warpstock 2003.

Warpstock Inc. sponsors each year's Warpstock gathering and the shows
themselves are put on by local groups who are selected by Warpstock
through a bidding process.

"Dear Warpstock board," wrote BayWarp's Neil Waldhauer early Monday
morning, "BayWarp is proud to present you with our 2003 Warpstock bid."

The bid deadline was several days ago; Warpstock Inc. extended the
deadline to allow BayWarp to complete its plan for the event.
