Subject: SCOUG-General: OS/2 Professional's Edwin Black Comes to Orange County!!

I know that many of you will be interested to know that Edwin Black, the
former publisher of OS/2 Professional will be in Orange County speaking
about his just-released book "War Against the Weak." It received a great
review in the LA Times Book Review a week ago, and critics around the
country have loved it (it was Book-of-the-Month in one major newspaper).
The book is about the eugenics movement, and how it had it's roots in the
United States, not Nazi Germany.

Edwin will be speaking next week on Thursday, September 25 at 6:30 pm in
Orange at the Turnip.

He's been telling me that he'd love to see some OS/2 folks, so come by and
say hello.
