Subject: SCOUG-General: Warpstock Special Room Rate Extended

Content Type: text/plain

=================================================================

Did you have a problem reserving your hotel room? The Doubletree
made a mistake about when our $85-a-night rate offer was over.
So, even if they offered you a rate close to our $85-a-night
rate, Warpstock would be grateful if you would take the time to
call directly and make sure that your room is counted as being a
part of Warpstock's room count.

Because of this mistake, the Doubletree has extended the date for
reservations at this rate 'til midnight October 1st (Pacific
Standard Time). We have to tell you though, that Thursday and
Friday night may be sold out at this rate. We'll be working with
Doubletree staff to improve that situation as much as we can.

Also, if you would like some additional perks with your stay,
you can upgrade your room to Club Level for $20/night which will
give you such niceties as a refrigerator, free Internet access
in the room, and more. Just make sure that yours is still a
'Warpstock' rate and so counted toward our total number of room
nights.

If you registered via the web, check your confirmation email for
the Warpstock Rate. It should look like this:

Rate Description: WARPSTOCK (CDTWRS)
Room Rate Per Night: $85.00

The hotel's direct number is 1-650-344-5500. Their FAX number is
1-650-340-8851.

Here is Hilton's secure reservations URL for making Warpstock
2003 room reservations:

Warpstock, Inc., is a North Carolina corporation. The Warpstock
annual conference is a gathering of OS/2 users, developers, and
vendors from around the world for the purpose of education and
advocacy. More information is available at the Warpstock web
site: <http://www.warpstock.org>
