Subject: SCOUG-General: Warpstock hotel and Early Bird discounts end Thursday!

Content Type: text/plain

=================================================================

Have you made your Warpstock room reservations yet? Our discount
room rate of $85 per night at the Doubletree Hotel San Francisco
Airport is only available through Thursday of this week. Friday
that rate is gone! Also, be sure and use the convention code
'Warpstock' when making your reservations so we get credit for
the room nights. Our contract with the hotel gives us a great
break on the cost of the conference rooms we're using for all
the great sessions we'll be having this year, if we meet an
agreed upon target number of room nights. If we don't make that
target number of room nights, then our cost for the conference
rooms goes way up!

The Doubletree San Francisco Airport Hotel, site of Warpstock
2003, is where the action will be the weekend of October 18th.
Along with all the great sessions we'll be having and all the
OS/2 and eCS exhibitors whose wares we can check out, the
conference hotel is the place for all those informal gatherings
that 'just happen' over breakfast, lunch, and dinner or drinks in
the evening. The $85 per night price is fantastic! You'd have
to be over 63 to get a better rate.

So, support Warpstock and, if you haven't yet reserved your room,
take advantage of the discount rate of just $85 per night by
booking your room BEFORE Friday. Be sure and tell them you're
with Warpstock!

homepage:

The hotel's direct number is 1-650-344-5500. Their FAX number is
1-650-340-8851.

Here is Hilton's secure reservations URL for making Warpstock
2003 room reservations:

Finally, Early Bird Pricing of only $99 for both days, for
Warpstock itself, also ends Thursday. Friday that rate goes up
to $140! Think of it as getting the Social, a $50 cost, for
nearly free! So, save yourself save some money and register
before Friday at this URL:

Finally, finally (ahem), speaking of the Social, the BayWarp Team
is still working out a Saturday Night Social for you, but the
options look like a lot of fun. You can book it in advance at
our eStore. It's always a sellout event. Here's the direct URL:

Warpstock, Inc., is a North Carolina corporation. The Warpstock
annual conference is a gathering of OS/2 users, developers, and
vendors from around the world for the purpose of education and
advocacy. More information is available at the Warpstock web
site: <http://www.warpstock.org>
