I'm quite happy so far with the progress that I've made.
The PC Card is based on a PRISM 2 chip by Intersil.
I spent quite a bit of time (unsuccessfully) trying to find another card
with OS/2 support... until I came upon the os2.org page which mentioned a
driver for Cisco's card. A bit of research showed that they also used an
Intersil Prism 2 chip.
Tried the drivers (which are on Hobbes), and was able to boot the machine
without any error messages during bootup. Even better, my ThinkPad's PC
Card Director recognizes that the card is in. :->
Next step - the Access Point, which may be easier, perhaps with a little
help from Dallas!
