Mark, this should be easy to check on. Move the data files from the
directory in which the hang occurs to some other directory (for example,
EATEST\). Then see if the View works in the original directory and if
it fails in the new directory. Since the EA's will move with the files,
the problem should move with them.
A quick warning if you have a _lot_ of data files or if you move a
directory which has a _lot_ of data files in its subdirectories:
DragNDrop is mighty slow. If you have a lot of files, it's better to
use MOVE from the command line. That might mess up some object
pointers, but after the above test you can MOVE the files back.
