I am thinking of buying a Maxtor 15 gig, 5400 rpm hard drive with ATA100,
but not Ultra DMA 100 capability.
My motheboard is a FIC 2007 with a 200 Mhz AMD K-6 and an "enhanced PCI
busmaster controller with Ultra DMA/33 support.
Will the Maxtor unit work with my board and controller? If so, is some
set-up other than that provided by Maxtor necessary?
TIA for your comments.
