The are some Peer and TCP/IP install glitches. This one I don't recall.

The differences are not great but they do exist. The kernel is closer to
the WSeB kernel that the Warp4 kernel with FP15.
Consider the difference in effort required to install eCS compared to the
work it would take to install Warp4 and add all the FP's to get you where
you are now. The eCS GA should be an even easier install and should work
direct from the CD. The preview is a beta intended to flush out the kind
of problems you had.
You shold take a look at the value-add applications. There's a lot there
if you need what's offered.
