If you are responding to someone asking for help who
may not be a member of this list, be sure to use the
REPLY TO ALL feature of your email program.

Sandy,
I am not sure I can help you much here. I was never able to get the
sound chip/hardware in my motherboard to work with OS/2. The motherboard
had OS/2 soundcard drivers but almost no documentation and no help, when
I tried calling the manufacturer (they said they would get back to me,
but never did). If you want to stick with the sound system on the
motherboard, perhaps others in SCOUG have experience and can help you.
For my system I did a search on the Internet for compatible PCI OS/2
soundcards, ones with Crystal Laboratory drivers. When I found such a
card, I did a search on that particular card for anyone that sold it. I
found the "Mensys Software Catalog" at:
http://www.mensys.nl/indexuk.html
They are in the Netherlands (Tel: +31(0)23 5482020). I don't know what's
out there now for OS/2 compatible cards, but if you want to go that
route, you might try out Mensys. If they have a card, it will take about
6 days for you to get it.
