Peter Skye has been asking about the maximum file sizes under various
OS/2 file systems. I found a chart that describes all of the
characteristics of each file system under OS/2 in the Information folder
(Help) files on Warp Server for e-Business. It is also probably in the
eCS Help as well. The chart describes FAT, HPFS, HPFS386 and JFS file
systems. Open the Quick Begining help book that is in the Task folder
that is in the Information folder. Use the search function to find
"hpfs386" and select "File Systems Comparison Chart".

I am including the chart as a file attachment to this message. It will
not display well as an e-mail message. The line length is 104 characters
and needs to be displayed in a full screen edit, else lines wrap will
make a visual mess of the chart. Save the attachement file on disk,
unzip it and use almost any text editor to display the unzipped file.
Make sure that word wrap is off and enlarge the editor window to full
screen size for best results.
