If you are responding to someone asking for help who
may not be a member of this list, be sure to use the
REPLY TO ALL feature of your email program.

Ray,
The problem is probably in your DOS Session setup for that DOS program.
It probably is the PRINT_TIMEOUT setting. Go to the settings notebook
for that program. Go to the "Sessions" tab and click the "DOS
Properties" button. Pick "All DOS settings" then click the "OK" button.
Scroll to the PRINT_TIMEOUT setting. You probably have it set to 0,
which means that the print job will not go to the printer until you
close out the DOS program (click on Help to verify this). Change the
setting to the default, 15 seconds.
If that does not work for you, maybe you can email me back and I'll send
you a copy of my full set of DOS settings for WordPerfect 5.1 (for DOS).
That program works very well for me, including printing without having
to close out WordPerfect. Perhaps those same setting will work with your
DOS program as well (maybe??).
