The TRW Amateur Radio Swap Meet starts at 7am on the _LAST_ Saturday
of the month, rain or shine, hell or high water, even on Christmas.
Hams appreciate electronic stuff, so half of the stuff is computer-related.
I bought 256MB DIMMs there for $25, connectors and cables from Roger,
media from Oscar, a UPS, scanner, and speakers from Bob, disk drives
from Greg, a laser level from Barry, SCSI cables from Brandon, inkjet
supplies from Tom, a CD changer from Elias and the list goes on and on.
I get to schmooze with my buddies who are also looking for good deals,
and it's all over by 11am.
It's been going continuously since (maybe) 1968 or so. And it's free
to get in. The corner of Marine and Aviation, just off the 405 freeway
and 2-3 exits south of the 105. When you get close, just look around
for a car with a HAM antenna and follow it. See you there!
