Is there a volume control for the sound card?

I looked in Hardware Manager, but the Properties for my sound card don't
include a volume control.

I searched the online help on VOLUME and it appears to say there's a
volume control somewhere, but doesn't say where.

I'm using play.cmd in \MMOS2\ which is a Rexx command file that uses
\MMOS2\MCIAPI.DLL.
