Duh/2.

Oh, I get it. Larry Martin should have known to develop SHSINST for Jim
Read before he sold the rights to Jim. :-)

Just as well, you've already invested 20 minutes searching.

The CSD install read.me at:
http://www.filestar.com/download/updates/u5100140.txt
states:
"To install the CSD, perform the following steps (if you are
reading this from InstallStar, jump to paragraph 3):
1. Copy the self-extracting installation file U5100140.EXE to
a temporary directory or the directory in which you intend to
install the program and run it to extract the files.
2. You may start the install program with or without the
compressed file as a parameter. The U5100140.CSD file is the
compressed file that contains all other files and installation
definitions."
The Duck must have had flustered feathers after 20 minutes of attempting
to invent his own installation instructions :-)

Duh/2.

Is that an exact estimate?

In life, hindsight makes many things obvious.

Now, schedule a run every 2 weeks or so the keep the generated garbage
under control.
Also, get Carsten Arnold's cleanini. It does cleanups neither checkini or
unimaint do.
You might consider using Unimaint's desktop and supplemental backup tools.
Much less failure prone than OS/2 built-in tool.
