It works with Java disabled. Thanks!
OK, now how can I get my JAVA upgraded to the latest stuff? I thought I
had done so via ecsupdt, but apparently not. I am confused between JAVA
1.1.8 and 1.3. Should I have BOTH on my system?
java -fullversion shows:
JAVA.EXE full version "JDK 1.1.8 IBM build o118-20011106 (JIT enabled:
javax V3.
5-IBMJDK1.1-20011106)"
CONFIG.SYS has:
LIBPATH= ...F:\JAVA13\JRE\DLL;F:\JAVA11\DLL;...
SET PATH=...F:\JAVA11\BIN;...
SET
CLASSPATH=F:\IBMGSK\CLASSES\SRIP.JAR;F:\IBMGSK\CLASSES\SGUIDE.ZIP;F:\IBMGSK\CLASSES\CSSGKEY.JAR;F:\JAVA11\LIB\SecMa.jar;F:\java11\Swing\swingall.jar;F:\java11\lib\classes.zip;.\.;F:\OS2\JAVAAPPS\LVMGUI.ZIP;F:\TCPIP\java;F:\OS2\JAVAAPPS\LVMGUI.ZIP;
SET SWING_HOME=F:\java11\Swing
SET JAVA_HIGH_MEMORY=1
SYSLEVEL shows:
F:\JAVA11\bin\SYSLEVEL.JAV
Java Runtime
Version 1.18 Component ID 5639B3300
Current CSD level: XR04009
Prior CSD level: XR04008
F:\JAVA11\Swing\SYSLEVEL.SWR

Version 1.10 Component ID 5639B9610
Type EXT
Current CSD level: SW04008
Prior CSD level: SW04008
F:\java13\jre\bin\SYSLEVEL.JAV
JDK Runtime
Version 1.30 Component ID 5648C9805
Type 0C
Current CSD level: XR05000
Prior CSD level: XR05000
F:\Netscape\java11\SYSLEVEL.JEP
JEmpower J11 JNI
Version 1.10 Component ID 5639C2500
Current CSD level: XR09999
Prior CSD level: XR04001
How much of this is junk? Is there a document that will tell me how to
get to the latest Java? I need specific instructions. I'm running eCS GA
+ FP2.
Thanks!
