>Where do I find a listing of the contents of the monthly SCOUG CD?
Hi Jack,
At this point, from someone that has one. The content includes:
- the most recent freely available items from IBM
including FP's, drivers and and Netscape
- the entire SCOUG newsletter history including Tony's Ink columns and
more
- a collection of ready to run emergency recovery tools
- whetever's new from Hobbes in the last month
- a collection of ready to install utilities and tools
Then there's content that changes over time. The current top level
directory list is:
DiskImgs
graphics
Hobbes
Ink
Install
MySQL
OpenWatcom
os24u
Postgres
Presentations
Python
Runnable
We are considering making the CD bootable on IDE systems so that the
emergency tools can be run entirely from the CD.
>If one looks interesting, how do I obtain it?
You could get one of the SCOUG members to pick one up for you at the
meeting and mail it to you. At the moment, we are not set up to do mail
order sales of the CD's or the other SCOUG logo items we have.
Steven
