As I said in my previous message:

>I had v2.0 and 2.3 both on my desktop but screwed up and deleted 2.3
>which I was ready to register.
>When I tried to run 2.3 from a command line I got a sys 3175 message.
>So I tried 2.0 from the command line and it worked. Then I reinstalled
>2.0, got it on the desktop and it still worked.
>So I reinstalled 2.3 again. It appeared on the desktop but when I tried
>to start it from there I got this message
>A program generated an access violation at 1e7dba20
>FXUTIL.DLL 0001:0000ba20.
>I tried to start 2.3 from the command line and got the same screen plus
>the information the the exception code was 0005.
>I am posting this message via v. 2.0 started from a command line.
>Can someone suggest how to eliminate the sys 3175 error when I start
>2.3?

I checked the 2.0 and 2.3 directories. All of the DLL's for each version
are in the correct directory.

I also checked the .ini's OS2 and OS2sys. I found a node for the
Injoybkup directory (which holds v 2.0) but none for the injoy directory
(which holds v 2.3).

Does this situation have something to do with my problem? If not, can
someone suggest where else I might look? Jack
