I have tried most of the general releases for about a year. I have
yet to get any of them to get messages from the mail server or read
messages already on the HDD from NS.
I have two ISPs; one dialup (D) and one cable (C). Whenever I have
installed a new version of Mozilla it has consistently picked up the
server for D and created an account for it. I created an account for
C. I have separate mail directories for C and D.
I just went to both C and D accounts and sent a message to myself at
D. D accepted the message while connected to C. This is the first
time for that. In the past I could download mail from D while
connected to C, but had to be dialed in to D to send from D. The
machine I am working with does not have a modem that works under
OS/2.
Both C and D put a copy in their sent files. That would imply that
Mozilla knows where to find the mail. I ran NS and downloaded the
mail from D. Both messages are there. However, selecting Read
Messages in Mozilla yields an empty box. I do not know if it is the
Inbox. I do not find an option to select a file; such as Sent.
What am I missing?
Ray
