Somebody told me once that these two use different methods to measure

I've been out of town for most of the past 5 months and haven't kept up
with this list. I'd like to try this -- does anybody remember the
Subject name on the message?

I just reviewed the documentation on PRINTMONBUFSIZE= and (as usual) I'm
confused. The documentation says "This device-driver monitor buffer is
used only if a printer character monitor is active." What does *that*
mean?
