Hmm, ConfigTool, good idea.  Okay, it gives additional information --  
but doesn't explain what a "printer character monitor" is.  
 
It does mention a par1284.sys driver replacement for print01.sys.  I ran  
a Google search and found a number of pages of information on this  
driver -- something else for me to change in my systems.  :)
