Hi
Sorry, this was badly explained:

OS/2 Warp 4 was already already installed on this HDD from this
system.
Currently it is an 6.4GB HDD.

The current HDD was the previous HDD of the same system but
having
only 3GB !

OS/2 is already running and everthing is fine except user logon
because
I cannot remember any User ID nor their PWD's ;-((
Normally there is one with ADMIN / password but this is not
working here ;-(

Can I just reinstall the LAN with LANinst to get this part of the
OS/2 installation
get re-done again ? The system itself is on FP 12 and the rest is
on FP15 !

I try to avoid a LAN reinstallation from the CD-ROM because I do
not want
downgrade the present environment !?

Thanks for your assistance !
Regards, svobi

I'm not exactly sure which userid and password you are talking
about.
There are BIOS passwords which can be reset by clearing the MB
BIOS using
a jumper on the MB. I vaguely recall that some Thinkpads had the
option
to password protect the removable drives. Is the what you are
talking
about? If so, my memory said that the reset had to be done by a
service
center because the procedure is proprietary.

A bit more info on the notebook model might help my memory.

Steven
