O.K., I tried some print jobs with the setting dialed back to around the 1/8 mark, far below what it
had been. Makes no difference in the results. I can go ahead and try it well increased over default,
rather than decreased. If that doesn't help, something else must be awry.
Incidentally, I've now been reminded that no printing *at all* takes place with my GhostView 4.1 /
GhostScript 7.03 combo, and probably never did, if memory serves. The print jobs just go bye-bye --
they're not in the queue or anywhere else; nothing happens at the printer. Can't print 'em to file,
either. Something's definitely screwed up with that. I expect Tony may know what's going on in this
situation.
