Good explanation.  It seems to me that this is a good time &   
place for a simple REXX script to fix the ipconfig vs DHCPSTRT   
issue.  Just where to put it and how to write it   
escape me though. I never did take Bill & Esther's   
online REXX class at ZD; it was cancelled.    
 
But I've got both of their REXX books!   
... right here, somewhere ....   ;-)
