Following Mr KIA (March 2001) to install PC on a MCP with 10/26 kernel
led to a trap d on bootup; couldn't even get to a command line. Booting
from W4 utility diskettes and restoring kbdbase.sys seems to have fixed
everything, but on bootup PC warns that the alternate keyboard driver
isn't installed and issues an emphatic order to install it. But PC
seems to be functioning OK. Mr KIA's instructions assume PC is being
installed from a CD and advise to not install the alternate keyboard.
But my PC is on a floppy (I also have fix01 from Stardock on a separate
floppy), and there were no install options related to the keyboard
driver. I'm guessing that all's fine, and had I restored the
kbdbase.sys before rebooting after the install I wouldn't be bothering
the list. But if something else should be fixed, please tell me.

Thanks,
Ben A
