What is the difference between Auto and IDE AUTO DETECT? I just
rebooted two machines here to look at the CMOS settings and neither one
has both of these. I have a BIOS main-screen option of IDE HDD AUTO
DETECTION which gives drive setup choices you can pick from -- but what
is the "Auto" you speak of?
