I'm trying. According to the readme, my 2920C is supposed to be supported.

A good diagnostic indicator for me has been cdrecord with the status command
line argument. Behavior of this command in the presence of each individual
AIC7870.ADD driver has been a consistent predictor of good characteristics of
the driver (IOTW, if the results of status are bad, SCSI system behavior usually
exhibits bad if not fatal characteristics). Although v2.3 has the best behavior
under this status request, status requests after having burned a CD are
variable. Whether this is a result of cdrecord leaving things in an
inconsistent state or the SCSI driver not behaving as expected, I can't say.
Often, I can't read a just-written CD. Sometimes, ejecting it and reinserting is
enough for a reset but sometimes, nothing in the drive is readable until a
reboot. Again, annoying but not fatal. Fortunately, I don't have many CD
writing marathons. So I keep experimenting...
