Look at the "Lease remaining" value. When your computer "logs on" it
obtains a "dynamic IP address" -- the "Lease" value is how long the IP
address is good for. Thus, if you have a value here, you _did_ receive
an IP address lease from the DHCP server.
Also review the DHCPMON Message log. Most people don't understand any
of it, but it's fun to look anyway.
I keep DHCPMON on my TaskBar. It's a fast way to see if you're
connected.
