I tried many diskettes using a number of different approaches: eCS GA,
eCS preview, CD install, some produced slightly different intermediate
results, but all ultimately could not format the diskettes. My next step will
be to go back to where I can go to utility diskettes (rather than CD)
and try to format diskettes there. I also plan to purchase pre-formatted
diskettes and try to re-format these to verify that the problem is NOT
in bad floppies.
