Two points:
I do not have any of your symptoms at this time. One possible reason;
long ago I determined to not touch the mouse or keyboard during email
download or trash take out.
For backup I revert to DOS. I have a 1392 Byte utility from 1985 called
BACopy that copies only newer files over older ones. For address and
bookmark plus other settings:
::this file is bacns.bat
cls
D:\UTILITY\bac D:\COMM\PROFILES\RAYCHART\*.* G:TEMPNS\RAY\SHARED
pause
Is there a BACopy function in OS/2?
