Hi Steven,
Now that my desktop is working, I am trying to get my laptop to send a
document to the SMC printer.
It works using lpr and lprmon (after I updated all the lp*.* files).
It still doesn't work using the printer icon, i.e. using epm or Describe
to print the document. It says printer not ready, etc.
I shredded and recreated the printer object. As far as I can tell, it is
set up exactly as on my desktop.
I tried updating the laptop to fixpack 15, but that did not help.
Here is the syslevel report. Is there anything here that jumps out at you?
Thanks,
Sandy
