Log onto the SMC and check status. Does it report the Printer Ready? If not check the cable and
printer power.
Mine has runtime code 1.40.001, boot code 1.10, and hardware version 01. Just in case there is a
difference in the runtime, try LPD Printer lp instead of lpt1.
Did you do a reboot?
