I've recently acquired a new system based on an Athlon XP 1900+ CPU on an
ASUS A7V266-E motherboard. The system case has a digital CPU temperature
guage fitted.
However I've been surprised at how high the guage goes from time to time.
So I would like to find out where I can get information about the safe
maximum temperature for this CPU so that I can switch the system off *before*
it completely fries :-)
I've looked on the AMD website but can't find anything there!
Any information. advice etc greatly appreciated.
TIA
Cheers
George
