It was not hung. I was waiting for you to give it work to do.

Try to send a text file to the printer:
copy \config.sys lpt1
Even without lprmon running:
lpr -s192.168.2.1 -plpt0 \config.sys
should work.

You've seen this before. It always happens when the .dmp file is empty.
